About Fierce Health

What does Fierce Health do?

Fierce Health is an online wellness company with a passion for helping individuals optimize their health and well-being through personalized therapies. We work with licensed medical providers and certified compounding pharmacies to offer safe, convenient access to medications such as compounded semaglutide, tirzepatide, NAD+, low dose naltrexone (LDN), and ivermectin.

What does “compounded” mean?

Compounded medications are custom formulations prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies. They contain the same active ingredients as brand-name medications but are tailored to meet individual patient needs – for example, adjusting the dose or adding beneficial additives that are not available from commercial manufacturers.

Are compounded medications FDA-approved?

Compounded medications themselves are not FDA-approved, but the individual ingredients used to make them typically are. The compounding pharmacies we partner with are licensed 503A pharmacies and operate under strict state and federal regulations to ensure quality, safety,
and accuracy.

Do I need a prescription?

Yes. All medications offered through our platform require a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare professional. Our medical team with review your health history and determine whether treatment is appropriate before any medication is dispensed.

How do I get started with treatment?

You’ll begin with ordering the medication and filling out our new patient intake form. One of our providers with review your form and reach out with any questions or concerns. If eligible, your customized prescription will be sent to the pharmacy and then show up right at your doorstep!

How often do I need follow-up visits?

We ask our patients to fill out a medication refill form every 3 months. Our providers use this form to monitor progress and adjust your treatment as needed. Additionally, your health concierge is available via text message anytime for questions along the way.

Do you ship to all U.S. states?

We ship to most U.S. states, if we can’t ship to you, you will be completely refunded.

Semaglutide & Tirzepatide

What are semaglutide and tirzepatide?

Semaglutide and tirzepatide are prescription medications that help regulate blood sugar, appetite, and metabolism. Both belong to a class of drugs known as incretin mimetics, which mimic natural hormones that signal fullness and support healthy glucose control.

  • Semaglutide works by activating the GLP-1 receptor, which helps reduce hunger, slow digestion, and stabilize blood sugar.
  • Tirzepatide activates both GLP-1 and GIP receptors, offering an additional pathway for improved metabolic support and enhanced weight management results.

How are they taken?

Both medications are typically administered as a once-weekly subcutaneous injection, usually in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm.

What if I am scared of needles?

A: If you aren’t comfortable with needles, you’re not alone – many people feel the same way at first. The good news is that these injections use a very small, fine needle, and most patients are surprised by how quick and virtually painless the process is. We will provide clear, step-by-step instructions to make sure you feel completely confident before you start.

What side effects should I expect?

The most common side effects are typically mild and temporary, including:

  • Nausea or upset stomach
  • Bloating or constipation
  • Fatigue or mild headache

These symptoms often improve as your body adjusts. Your provider will monitor your progress and make adjustments if needed. Serious side effects are rare.

How long does it take to see results?

Many patients notice appetite changes and early results within the first few weeks. Meaningful changes in body composition, energy, and metabolic health generally develop over several months with consistent use and healthy lifestyle habits.

Can I switch from a brand-name GLP-1/GIP medication to a compounded version?

In many cases, yes. If you have been taking a brand-name medication, our providers can determine if a compounded version is a suitable alternative for you.

What is ivermectin?

Ivermectin is a long-established prescription medication originally developed to treat parasitic infections. It has been used safely for decades and is also prescribed for certain skin and inflammatory conditions.

Is ivermectin safe?

When used as prescribed and obtained from a licensed pharmacy, ivermectin is considered safe and well-tolerated. Side effects are typically mild and may include nausea, dizziness, or fatigue. Our provider will review your health history to ensure it’s a good fit before starting
therapy.

Is ivermectin FDA-approved?

How is ivermectin taken?

We offer ivermectin as a compounded capsule that is taken orally.

Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)

What is low dose naltrexone (LDN)?

Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) is a prescription medication that, at very small doses, may help support immune balance, reduce inflammation, and promote overall wellness. Unlike standard doses of naltrexone used for opioid or alcohol dependence, LDN is typically prescribed
at 1-5mg per day, which is much lower than standard doses.

What is LDN used for?

LDN is often used under medical supervision to support health in conditions such as:

  • Chronic pain and fibromyalgia
  • Autoimmune or inflammatory conditions
  • General immune support and wellness optimization

It is considered off-label use, which means it is prescribed for purposes other than the FDA- approved indications. Off-label prescribing is common in medicine when supported by clinical experience and evidence.

How is LDN taken?

LDN is taken as a custom-compounded capsule, once daily at bedtime. Dosing can be personalized based on your health history and wellness goals.

How long does it take to see effects?

LDN works gradually. Some patients notice improvements in energy, sleep, or inflammation within a few weeks, while others may require a few months of consistent use to experience meaningful benefits. Patience and adherence are key.
